A few years ago, my brother and I were driving through Atlanta when we came across an advertisement for Coke Zero. The sign said, “unrealistic expectations met daily.” My brother remarked, “did you see that?” “No.” The double preachers’ kid continued, “That sign will preach!” He was right! That sign will and does indeed preach.
I told one of my best friends about the conversation. A few weeks later, she gifted me with one of my most precious treasures – the sign in the picture that you see above. It serves as a constant reminder that we serve a God for whom nothing is impossible!
So, no matter what is going on in your life, reflect and pray long enough so that you can receive the assurance that God is in the business of delivering “unexpected expectations” all of the time!
During this Lenten season, please do not #settle for less than God has in store for you. God is too good for that and desires more for you than you can ask, seek or imagine.
